Donnie began his counseling practice in 2011 after spending 20 years in the business world. From the beginning, his goal has been to meet people where they are and walk alongside them through life’s challenges. He considers it a tremendous privilege and honor to work with so many clients, witnessing their growth while continuing to grow personally and professionally as well.

His focus includes working with blended families, couples, adults, and adolescents in the areas of anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. He has additional training and experience in sex therapy and grief counseling. He also enjoys premarital counseling and has extensive experience helping couples navigate the pain of infidelity, along with the many other challenges marriage often brings. In 2015, he co-founded New Path Christian Counseling with the desire to practice alongside like-minded Christian counselors. He is also the author of The Best Marriage Ever and was featured on News 9 from 2011–2023 with his relationship segment, “Ask Donnie.”
